Since 1976, the University of Wisconsin River Falls Animal Science department has annually held the Colts in Training sale. This year, UWRF showcases over 43 colts that have undergone the Colts in Training Program. Each horse offered for sale was accepted into this program based upon overall quality and potential as a performance horse prospect. The colts are products of careful breeding and boast pedigrees with proven sires such as Chic Please, Smart Like Juice, Lil Ruf Peppy, Smart Starbuck, and the infamous Hollywood Dun It. The sale on May 5th, 2012 is open to the public. The preview will begin at 11:00 with lunch to follow at 12:00, followed by the auction at 2:00.
